Birds fly by magnetism

It is know that birds navigate our vast planet by the use of the sun and landmarks. But, scientists in Germany have found that they can navigate by the magnetic forces of the earth. It is said that birds have iron-based magnetic materials in their beaks to enable them to navigate.
